Raorchestes bobingeri - Bob Inger's Bush Frog



This arboreal species is rare and is only found in the Ponmudi hills in Kerala, South India. It inhabits tropical moist deciduous forests of the southern Western Ghats, at the height of 1,030m asl.

According to the IUCN Red List assessment, the population of this species is stable. Currently, its population size is unknown. Since this species is currently inhabiting reserved and protected forests, no major threats are known. Minor threats to this species are tourism, logging, and agriculture surrounding the forests.
