Hoplobatrachus tigerinus

Adult frog predating on a small frog from the same species. The big frog mostly could be a female. I was attracted to the site by the distress call from the smaller one. I guess it might be a male as I am not aware about any calling behavior in females of this species. This particular incident happened in a non rainy night on an otherwise rainy week. Around the same period frogs of Hoplobatrachus and other species had been breeding.
