When mother nature blesses you, miracles do happen..!
guess what??
Here comes the great encounter of my lifetime.
Have you people heard about frog and snake story?
Correct.!!! It’s the same natural history moment,
uncommon incident by common creatures.
Challenging its predator, a subadult bullfrog/Hoplobatrachus tigerinus hoped suddenly on Malabar pit viper/Trimeresurus malabaricus (green morph and venom being haemotoxic) as we were busy in clicking the photos of this green morph pit viper and to our surprise he stayed on the pit viper for about 20 minutes.
Ashtonigly seeing this miracle happening, we expected some great action, as bullfrogs are tough competitors to be a prey.
After some time It appeared as if the pit viper was annoyed due to our presence and probably he might have thought that we were about to catch him,(noticed by his behaviour were he was completely still without any movement).But unfortunately, the snake moved slowly out of the ring and the frog was awarded the winner.The frog jumped again and vanished in the dark, being the dark knight who survived the day.
p.s. - Photo clicked under utmost precaution, no animal was harmed or injured and was not HANDLED.Photos were taken under natural habitat using ambient light, and the light was not focused directly on the subject.
Utmost importance was given and all the precautionary measures were taken in protecting these phenomenal creatures.
