Several individuals of the species were seen calling and in a dirty pond formed in the middle of the field. Other species present around the water body were Uperodon taprobanicus, Microhyla sps., Sphaerotheca sps. Polypedates cf. maculatus and Hoplobatrachus tigrinus.
